My boyfriend handed me Under a Gull's Wing in Barnes and Noble. I read "Barnegat Bay 3 a.m". Nothing else existed. I turned to pay for it. My boyfriend said "you haven't even looked at the price." It didn't matter; I had to have it. It is a masterpiece... the photographs throughout the book are wonderful, the poetry moving. It moves me from whereever I happen to be right to the coast and mainland I love.

What would I do without my LBI calendar! Now i won’t have to rely on my sister who still lives in NJ. Although I always buy calendars each summer, now I will put them on my gift list for friends! I’ll also buy them shore books!
